What does the registration fee include? What else do I need to purchase for my child?
The registration fee includes a team hat and personalized jersey for baseball players. Softball players will receive a personalized jersey and hair bow. While the league provides shared equipment for each team including balls, catcher's gear (for Single A/Minor B and higher divisions), batting tees, batting helmets, and spare bats, many children prefer to use their own bat and batting helmet. Athletes should have their own glove and appropriate shoes. All male catchers must wear an athletic cup.
When will teams be formed, and when will I hear from my child's manager?
Teams will be formed after registration closes for each division. A draft will be held for some divisions. Your child's manager will reach out to you after they have received their roster.
How long is the season?
Games should begin late-April and run through late-June. Practices will begin in the weeks leading up to the first game.
Is there anything else I need to do before the season starts?
Feel free to download the GameChanger app now, as this is the method most teams use to communicate schedule changes and team updates.
